(Usborne Reading Incentive Program)
What is it: A pledge-based reading incentive program that words as a read-a-thon. We reward students for reading while raising much-needed funds for your school.
What is our Goal: For students to read or be read to for 300 minutes or more over a two week period (20min/day) is to create life long readers by encouraging good reading habits and rewarding participants with fun educational books of their own. Homework reading counts toward minutes read.
100% of all pledges are returned to Peachtree Academy and participating students.
- 40% cash to the school
- 20% books to the school
- 40% books to the students! (Each child gets to select books of their own choice.)
Our kickoff date is September 15th. Look for the packet to come home with your child that day. You will find everything you need to know there.
